FAUTH AQUATICS LIMITED WARRANTY – FULL REEF SYSTEM

Effective Date: October 1st, 2025

1. Scope and Coverage

Fauth Aquatics, LLC (“Fauth Aquatics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) warrants to the original retail purchaser (“Owner”) that the Full Reef System aquarium and accompanying stand (collectively, the “Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential indoor use for the applicable period below, subject to all limitations, exclusions, and Owner responsibilities herein.

Warranty Periods

  • Standard Coverage: 1 year from the date of retail purchase.

  • Extended Coverage: 3 years from the date of retail purchase only if the Product is registered and approved by Fauth Aquatics within 30 days of purchase, including submission of required installation and leveling verification photographs.

This warranty applies solely to products purchased new from Fauth Aquatics or its authorized dealers and installed in accordance with all provided instructions.

2. Fauth Aquatics’ Obligation

During the applicable warranty period, Fauth Aquatics’ sole and exclusive obligation, at its discretion, shall be to:

  • Repair the defective component; or

  • Replace the defective Product or component with the same or comparable model; or

  • Provide a pro-rata refund of the original purchase price.

All replacements are F.O.B. Fauth Aquatics’ facility. This warranty does not cover labor, removal, installation, freight, or any other costs beyond repair or replacement of the defective item. Replacement does not extend or restart the warranty period.

3. Conditions of Coverage

Warranty coverage is valid only when all of the following are true:

  1. The Product is installed on a level, structurally sound, non-flexing surface using the included stand or a Fauth Aquatics-approved support system.

  2. Installation, setup, and maintenance are performed strictly per our published instructions.

  3. The Product is used for indoor, climate-controlled, residential use only.

  4. No modification, drilling, alteration, or removal of components has occurred.

  5. The Owner retains original proof of purchase and, for extended coverage, proof of approved registration and leveling verification.

Failure to meet any of these conditions voids all warranty coverage.

4. Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty does not cover and Fauth Aquatics shall not be liable for any of the following:

A. Improper Installation or Support

  • Any tank, sump, or stand that is not perfectly level, not fully supported across its base, or installed on a surface subject to flexing, settling, vibration, or moisture intrusion.

  • Damage resulting from improper leveling or support, including seam separation, glass cracking, structural collapse, or leaking.

  • Damage caused by failure to use the Fauth Aquatics stand or a stand of equal or greater rated strength and flatness.

⚠️ WARNING: An unlevel or unsupported installation may result in catastrophic tank failure, collapse, property damage, and personal injury. Such conditions void all warranty coverage without exception.

B. Acts of God and External Events

  • Fire, flood, earthquake, storm, lightning, power outage, electrical surge, vandalism, or any other force majeure or act beyond our control.

  • Damage or failure caused by environmental exposure (sunlight, humidity, corrosion, temperature extremes, airborne contaminants, pests, etc.).

C. User Error, Negligence or Modification

  • Accidents, misuse, neglect, abuse, impact, tipping, overfilling, dry running, or chemical damage.

  • Alterations, drilling, painting, or use of adhesives, sealants, or components not authorized by Fauth Aquatics.

  • Use with incompatible plumbing, pumps, or lighting equipment.

  • Any aesthetic issue not affecting structural integrity (scratches, chips, discoloration, hazing, algae growth, etc.).

D. Consequential or Collateral Losses

Fauth Aquatics assumes no liability whatsoever for any incidental, indirect, or consequential loss arising from ownership or use of the Product, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of livestock, coral, aquatic life, or biological media;

  • Damage to flooring, cabinetry, electrical systems, or other property;

  • Loss of time, inconvenience, emotional distress, or lost revenue;

  • Personal injury or death.

Under no circumstances shall Fauth Aquatics’ liability exceed the original purchase price of the Product.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a claim, the Owner must use contact form on website and provide:

  • Owner name, address, phone, and email;

  • Model, serial number, and purchase date;

  • Proof of purchase and (if applicable) approved registration confirmation;

  • Detailed description and clear photos/video of the issue, installation surface, and leveling condition.

Fauth Aquatics may require the Product or component to be returned for inspection at the Owner’s expense. Warranty decisions are at Fauth Aquatics’ sole discretion after inspection.

6. Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and installation location and is non-transferable unless re-certified in writing by Fauth Aquatics.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, FAUTH AQUATICS MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ALL OF WHICH ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

FAUTH AQUATICS SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This warranty shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.

9. Entire Agreement

This document constitutes the entire limited warranty between Fauth Aquatics and the Owner and supersedes all prior representations or statements. No dealer, installer, or employee is authorized to modify this warranty.

Reminder to Owners

To maintain coverage and peace of mind:

  1. Ensure your aquarium and stand are perfectly level and fully supported before filling.

  2. Complete registration within 30 days to qualify for the extended 3-year warranty.

  3. Retain all proof of purchase and photos documenting your installation.
